- Use a high SPF, broad-spectrum sunscreen – using sunscreen is essential as your skin is more sensitive to sun damage
- Don’t exfoliate – avoid exfoliating for at least 3 to 5 days after your treatment
- Avoid touching your face – try not to touch your face, pick, peel or prod for a few days after the treatment

- Don’t worry – you may experience some tightness, redness, tingling or burning sensation and/or bruising, tenderness and superficial swelling which is perfectly normal and any side effects will diminish within a few days. The papules under your skin will also diminish over time as your plasma spreads across the scalp. There may be some bruising around the blood draw site although this should settle within 1-2 days.

- Avoid touching your scalp for 72 hours – this includes brushing, washing hair, applying products, hair colouring, heat tools (straighteners, curlers etc.) and scratching in order to minimise risk of infection. You can wash your hair 24 hours after treatment using a shampoo that is pH balanced and continue using pH balanced shampoo for at least a week
